The 18HP gasoline hydraulic power unit is manufactured by Jianghe Flood Prevention in Changshu, China. It is powered by a domestic 18HP gasoline engine, with a maximum working pressure of 160 bar and an output flow of 40 Lpm. The unit is designed for flood control drainage, emergency rescue hydraulic tool support, and outdoor field operations where grid power is unavailable. We provide technical consultation before purchase and after-sales support during the product lifecycle.
As Changshu Jianghe Flood Prevention Products Co., Ltd., we specialize in hydraulic power systems and emergency rescue equipment for flood control, municipal engineering, and disaster response applications.
The 18HP Gasoline Hydraulic Power Unit is a compact field-grade hydraulic power source designed for rapid deployment in emergency environments where mobility, reliability, and continuous hydraulic output are required.
It is engineered for:
Emergency flood drainage operations
Hydraulic rescue tool power supply
Municipal maintenance and field engineering support
Remote or off-grid working environments
Engineering Design and Field Experience
This unit is designed based on field deployment feedback from emergency rescue operations. Key design features include:
Steel frame structure with forklift pockets and lifting eyelets for mechanical handling and container loading
Integrated layout with all hydraulic connections accessible from the front panel for quick hose attachment
Hydraulic circuit with a priority flow control valve to maintain stable output as load varies
Side-mounted cooling fins and a forced-air ventilation duct to maintain oil temperature within operating range during extended run time
The system is built for continuous operation in field conditions where grid power is unavailable and hydraulic tools must remain functional throughout the emergency response window.

Notes
Pre-Operation Checks:
● Verify hydraulic oil level is between the sight glass marks before each startup.
● Inspect hydraulic hoses for abrasion, kinks, or loose fittings—replace before operation if damaged.
Operational Limits:
● Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 160 bar or operate the engine above its governed speed.
● Use only in well-ventilated outdoor or open-space environments. Carbon monoxide from the gasoline engine is hazardous in enclosed areas.
Maintenance Schedule:
● Replace hydraulic oil and filter after the first 50 hours of operation, then every 200 hours thereafter.
● Drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stalls before storage exceeding 30 days to prevent carburetor gumming.
Performance Characteristics
● Output flow variation within ±3% across 0–100% load range at constant engine RPM
● Pressure relief valve set at 160 bar, with tolerance of ±5% during continuous operation
● Compatible with hydraulic rescue tools requiring 120–160 bar operating pressure, including cutters, spreaders, breakers, and submersible pumps
● Recoil start system with automatic choke, capable of starting within 3 pulls at ambient temperatures above 0°C
● Fuel consumption rate: ≤ 2.8 L/hour at full load (160 bar / 40 Lpm) under steady-state operation
Packaging and Delivery
All units are packaged for international ocean and land freight according to the following standards:
Stretch film wrapped around the unit body to protect painted surfaces from scratching during container loading
Threaded plastic plugs installed on all hydraulic ports and quick-couplings to prevent contamination ingress during transit
Plywood crate with 9mm wall thickness, fully enclosed, with a 4-way entry skid base for forklift handling
Internal foam padding and strapping to secure the unit to the crate base, preventing movement during vessel roll
Shipping marks on all four sides indicating: product model, gross weight, dimensions, and "THIS SIDE UP" orientation
Operating Instructions
Startup Procedure:
Check hydraulic oil level—fill with ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil if below the sight glass center mark.
Inspect all hose connections—tighten any loose fittings with a torque wrench to 35 Nm.
Open the fuel shut-off valve, set the choke to START position, and pull the recoil starter.
Allow the engine to warm up at idle for 2 minutes before engaging the hydraulic load.
During Operation:
Keep the engine at full throttle (3600 RPM) for rated hydraulic output.
Monitor the oil temperature gauge—if it exceeds 80°C, reduce load or allow idle cooling.
Never disconnect hydraulic hoses while the system is under pressure.
Shutdown and Storage:
Reduce engine speed to idle and run for 1 minute before turning off the ignition.
For storage exceeding 30 days, add fuel stabilizer or drain the tank completely.
Store the unit in a dry location with the hydraulic outlets capped.
