Oil-filled Submersible Pump is a submersible water lifting equipment that integrates the pump body and motor, and fills the motor cavity with specialized insulated mechanical oil.
1.working principle
The motor chamber is filled with insulating oil, which simultaneously serves three functions:
Electrical insulation to prevent winding short circuits;
Conducting heat dissipation, transferring the heat of the motor to the casing, and cooling it by external water bodies;
Continuously lubricate bearings and mechanical seals.
The upper part of the pump is a centrifugal impeller, which rotates to pump water after being powered on; The pump and motor rely on a double end mechanical seal to prevent water from seeping into the motor oil chamber.
2.Core advantages
Long term oil immersion lubrication of bearings, wear-resistant, suitable for long-term continuous operation;
The sealing condition is stable, and it is not easy for the shaft to rust due to prolonged shutdown;
Strong resistance to voltage fluctuations and better overload performance;
Compact structure, no need for pump room, easy to move.
3.Main shortcomings
If the mechanical seal wears out and leaks oil, it will pollute the water body and cannot be used for drinking water intake;
Regular oil level checks and insulation oil replacement are required, and the maintenance workload is greater than that of water immersed pumps;
Under the same power, the procurement cost is slightly higher.
4.Typical Applications
Irrigation of farmland, water exchange in fish ponds, drainage of construction sites, flood prevention and drainage, water supply from water towers, and landscape water circulation; Prohibited for extracting tap water and drinking water.
5.Brief instructions for use
The medium is generally clean water, and the sand content should not be too high. Sand and gravel are prone to wear and tear on the machine seal, causing oil leakage;
Do not leave the water surface idle for a long time to prevent overheating and burning;
Regularly inspect the seal and immediately shut down for maintenance if oil is found floating in the water.
